Who are we ?

Panneau Piano is a range of decorative acoustic panels designed and manufactured in France.

Born from a shared desire between Home International, specialist in interior technical coatings, and Mesnard Catteau, an industrial company established in Loiret since 1948, it is aimed at architects, communities and developers looking for reliable, aesthetic and ethical solutions.

An industrial heritage

75 years of experience

Since 1948, Mesnard Catteau develops its expertise in needle-punched non-woven fabrics, in Saint-Loup-des-Vignes in the Loiret region. Starting out in hat-making, the company has evolved over time, working for the automotive industry and then technical textiles. This ability to reinvent itself without breaking with its know-how is today the basis of Panneau Piano.

Expertise put to the service of acoustics

With Panneau Piano, Mesnard Catteau has used his know-how to offer a French alternative to imported solutions. The goal was not only to develop a new product, but to demonstrate that local expertise could meet the acoustic needs of collective spaces. Behind each panel, there is the desire to bring French industrial expertise to life and put it to use on projects throughout the country.

A complementary organization

Two complementary areas of expertise

Panneau Piano is the result of the joint work of Mesnard Catteau And Home InternationalThe first brings its industrial experience and production capacity, the second its knowledge of the market and distribution. This complementarity is based on a habit of collaboration already proven over decades, which makes our organization readable and efficient. Together, we have built an organization that directly links manufacturing to use, without detours or unnecessary intermediaries.

Operation designed for projects

The two structures work at only 5 km from each other, in Loiret. This geographical proximity, coupled with shared working experience, facilitates daily exchanges, reduces lead times, and simplifies logistics. For our clients, this means a seamless relationship: a dedicated contact at Home International who relies directly on local, responsive production.

Actors committed to their territory

Jobs and a territory

Established in the Pithiverais-Gâtinais region since our beginnings, we support dozens of jobs across our two structures. Panneau Piano is not just a product line: it is an industrial activity that directly contributes to local economic vitality and the transmission of French know-how.

A national presence

We work alongside architects and specifiers throughout the country. This complementarity between manufacturing and support allows us to be identified as a reliable partner, capable of contributing to a variety of projects throughout France.

Our commitments

Supporting a French industry

Our two companies are convinced that French industry still has a major role to play. Producing locally, investing in our tools, training our teams: these are the choices that allow us to keep our expertise alive and ensure its transmission.
Our commitment is simple: to show that French industry can remain competitive, innovate and actively contribute to the transformation of our consumption patterns.

Questioning our industry

Producing close to home, optimizing our processes, reducing our CO₂ emissions... These choices raise a simple but essential question: What if competitiveness also involved respecting our planet's limited resources?
Panneau Piano is precisely this testing ground: a project in motion, built over time, which progresses by constantly challenging itself. This is what drives us: proving that a French industry can be efficient, creative, and eco-responsible.
