1 Panneau Piano 24mm = 350 recycled PET bottles
Made in France
The Panneau Piano acoustic panels are fully made in France, in the Mesnard Catteau workshops, in Saint-Loup-des-Vignes (Loiret). Since 1948, this family business has developed recognized expertise in needle-punched non-woven fabrics. Today, this know-how is put to the service of acoustics, with production controlled from start to finish.
The transformation is then carried out in the factory of Home International, 5km away. This concerns printing, cutting, engraving and packaging.
Transparency plays a central role in our eco-responsible approach. This is why we provide architecture and design professionals with detailed Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets (EHDS) for all our recycled PET acoustic panels. They are accessible via the Iniès environmental and health database. These sheets provide a comprehensive overview of the origin of the materials, the product's life cycle, and its environmental impact. In accordance with the RE2020 environmental regulations, our EHDS allow you to make informed choices regarding development, promoting more sustainable and environmentally friendly design.

According to the data from our FDES and impactco2.fr
The PET and rPET fibers used in our panels come from European sources located less than 800 km from our Loiret factories. They are sourced as much as possible from recycled plastic bottles, thus limiting our dependence on virgin materials.
Recycled fibers are first mixed to technical fibers: thermo-binding agents, non-flammable fibers, etc. This mixture may cause slight shade variations, a characteristic specific to recycled fibers.
The material thus prepared is then needled into sheets : a mechanical process that intertwines the fibers and gives them cohesion.
Thermocompression plays a key role in the manufacturing of recycled PET acoustic panels. This process involves applying controlled heat and specific pressure to the fiber layers. Depending on the settings, the panel will be more or less airy, which directly affects its effectiveness as an acoustic corrector.
It is on this basis that we have developed two distinct thicknesses: 12 and 24 mm.
Once the raw panels are manufactured by Mesnard Catteau, they are transferred to Home International, located just 5 km away. This is where the final stages take place: cutting to standard formats, decorative engravings or specific shaping (forms, blades, islands).
This proximity between manufacturer and distributor guarantees a smooth continuity, from raw material to the final product ready for installation.
Once cut and shaped, Panneau Piano panels are ready for installation. They offer decades of stable and aesthetic acoustic performance.
Compounds at 100 % of PET, they are themselves fully recyclable at the end of its life. Manufacturing therefore marks the completion of a first virtuous cycle, which gives a second use to the material and already prepares the next one.
The Panneau Piano range is available in wall shapes, panoramic engravings, suspended blades, floating islands.
We offer acoustic panels in standard or custom sizes, crafted in graphic shapes, decorative engravings, or panoramic designs. Each product is designed to adorn walls and ceilings, improve acoustics, and bring a strong aesthetic dimension to interior spaces.
Manufacturing is just the first step in the recovery of recycled PET. Our thinking goes further: we are working to implement solutions that will recycle and revalue again panels internally, whether production waste or end-of-life products.
This circular approach is rooted in our desire to reduce the environmental footprint of our products and promote a more sustainable economy. With Panneau Piano, we aim to contribute to a virtuous life cycle, where aesthetics and acoustics take into account the limits of our planet.
