Suspended acoustic islands to complement the new learning spaces

An acoustic solution adapted to teaching spaces

For CODA School in Orléans, Panneau Piano installed suspended acoustic islands designed to improve acoustic comfort in a school environment. In these spaces dedicated to learning, noise control is essential to promote concentration, facilitate interaction, and create a more pleasant environment for both students and teaching staff.

U

A ceiling-mounted installation, with no floor footprint

Suspended from the ceiling, acoustic islands allow you to treat the volume of the room without changing the furniture layout or reducing the available space. This solution is particularly well-suited to communal spaces, where uses may change throughout the day: classes, group work, presentations, or discussion time.

A layout designed to complement the architecture of the space

The arrangement of the islands complements the lines of the exposed technical ceiling, the pendant lights, and the existing volumes. Finished in O/N 05 gray, the circular and rectangular panels blend discreetly into the ambiance of the space, while creating a visual rhythm on the ceiling. The overall effect provides a functional, subtle, and architecturally pleasing acoustic solution.
